It's a Love Hate thing...

My friend makes THE best and CUTEST cookies EVER!!!!I absolutely cannot resist them...ever! I also hate them, because they are sooooo not not good for me! I really don't let that stop me too much!! My friend is SOOOO talented!! She makes them for all holidays, but my favorite is by far HALLOWEEN!!! I will be having some "SWEET DREAMS!"

I was feeling not so selfish (at the moment) and let Jord have the spider web cookie all to himself. And we all know that doesn't happen very often!! Especially with MY sweets!!!

Do you DARE to DINE with us?????

Tonight we had such a SPOOKY & BLOODY dinner!! It was so much fun having Luke help me(Bella was at art class) set up! He kept asking, "Mom, can I pour the blood out now?, Can we light the candles?" On the annual Halloween menu, we had "mummies, bones, blood, blood & more blood! So much for a keeping it healthy! I planned on putting the mummies in a cute coffin I saw on Martha, but ran out of time...instead I sewed Luke a doctors scrubs hat for his costume. Before I knew it, it was 5:30!! The kids didn't even know the coffin was missing...I lOVE doing stuff like this!!! There were a couple of other things I really wanted to do to but ran out of time! Oh well!!! Thanks Mom for all the wonderful childhood memories of all the holidays!!! I can't wait to get the pictures of Kanyon's 6th birthday!!! I hear it was SPOOKTACULAR!!!

Thanks MOM for the TOTALLY COOLEST bleeding candles!!! This was Luke's favorite part!

Some super happy totally grossed out kids!!! I love Halloween! Then again, I really LOVE ALL holidays!!!
Turns out Luke just may be a vampire...he double-fisted the "blood." (ketchup & pizza sauce, EWW!)

The BEST Sunbeam Teachers EVER!!

I got a call from one of Luca's Sunbeam teachers yesterday asking if they could swing by to visit Luke this morning. I told Luke he was having some visitors last night...of course he wanted to know who it was. I told him and he got SO excited!!! He woke up this morning saying, "Mom, I think they are coming now!" NOT AT 6:30AM!! You'd think I learn my lesson with that. I think I just get so excited myself...I want the kids to experience the same. The trick for me is to learn to be more PATIENT. Finally, right on time the doorbell rings. Luke gets it. There are his two Sunbeam teachers handing him a huge plate of Chocolate Chip cookies & a note.

They were dropping them off just because they love him!! How sweet is that? He hurried to open the letter first which honestly I was surprised. You usually put food in Luke's face...he's done for. It was so cute to see him "read" it. "Dear Luke, we love you so much! We we we..." he started to get frustrated and handed it to Bella and said, "Bella will you read it to me, you are an awesome reader!" So CUTE!!! Here is what the letter actually said...

Notice...the EMPTY Skittles (I think it was in the letter). Before BREAKFAST!! Oh well, let's add to the sugar. We had CREPES!! YUMMY!!! We even custom order...1/2 Raspberry Jam & 1/2 Cinnamon Sugar. Welcome, SUGAR HIGH WEEK!!!

Before church...Aren't you 2 SOOO CUTE?
(Always the same outfit!! Let's see how long that lasts!)
